I enjoyed reading through your website very much and found it exceptionally helpful. In fact, I read and studied over all of your articles except for the ceiling fan installation notes that I pretty much had covered. Your simple solution to replacing old style two wire outlets with new two wire w/ground outlets was especially helpful. I've been perplexed on how to solve this problem; indeed, I have several cracked (obviously dangerous) old outlets that I didn't know how to safely replace. Our electrical inspector didn't suggest this solution, so I suspect that it's not quite up to local code, but it is certainly safer than retaining the old, damaged outlets. Thanks very much for the free information. No need to reply to my comments; I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for providing this free information and for fulfilling the original promise of the www before everything became over commercialized. Cheers, Michael
